Is there the capacity for turning up on foot if we park elsewhere? Could someone at PH confirm either way please

eta is it really "only" 200 spaces? seems pretty small to me.

As was shown with this one there is a delay as the thread/event has to be live before the email can be sent, but if you go on as soon as you get the email you usually get in. Sometimes the word gets out esp at "targeted" events, there are an awful lot of BMW owners in the "got in early" group so I suspect either dealers or owners groups got the word out.

n.b. I'm talking from experience and guesswork, I am in no way linked to PH!

The reserve list is longer than the "in" list.
Speaks volumes for the popularity of these events but sucks for the rest of us who missed the cut.

I'm not going to pleed for more spaces as I'm sat at +400 at the minute.

I didn't get an email about it even though I'm subscribed to the newsletter. I still can't work out how to get any email notifications of thread replies

Not me, I may have a BMW and be on the list but I only found out when I clicked on the homepage and had to join up like everyone else.

Exactly this, that's why when I went to sign up the reserve list was at about 180 so I didn't bother.

Hi all,

Well this SS seems to have got your mouths watering.

As this is the first one BMW are hosting at their new UK Headquarters the numbers have been strictly capped based on parking restrictions on site.
We did initially explore the potential of opening up the event to those that parked off site, however after further investigation it was agreed this posed to much of a Health Safety issue and i know it might not seem like it sometimes but we do care about our members .

Now we have seen there is a huge demand for this particular SSI will discuss with the guys at BMW of hosting another later on in the year whereby the reserve list has priority for signing up.

Like I said on FB we do have even more Sunday Services this year so there should be enough for everyone.

ollie, i haven't been to a SS before - how does entry work? do we get an email with details or do we just turn up and say our name?
