Heads up to anybody going the Gaydon junction (J12) of the M40 is going to be closed so you'll need to come off at a different junction

Cheers Michael. I'm sure the diversion onto the B4100 will be a more interesting drive anyway thumbup

Is it possible for one of the mods to change my car on the list (Currently no 34) from TVR Chimaera or C1 to TVR Chimaera or Mini Cooper please?

I would have a go myself but I can remember mucking it up on a previous event and losing my place!

THanks

It doesn't matter what car you put on the list and what car you turn up in. I am coming in an invisible car.

This is still closed? It's a 20-mile diversion, I think, if you carry on to the next junction to turn around and get off the other side of J12.

What's the best junction to come off the M40 at if coming from M1/M69 etc or is it best to go M1/M42 and then M40?

I'd be happy to do a bit of a convoy if you're going past Swindon.

Yes! Love the cross country run from Bristol to Gaydon at 0700. No point taking the M5 when the Fosse Way is straighter and almost as fast.... cloud9

I like your thinking - Fosse way is a great road. I'm west of Oxford so thinking of a little run up to Burford, up to Stow-on-the Wold and onto the Fosse. driving

I'll be heading through Burford at half 7/8 depending on the start time.

Half 7 at Burford sounds good if you want a drive up together? There might be others..

Let's say 8am on the side of the high street next to the pedestrian crossing. It's bad form to turn up early. I'll get banned by the tall man.

I'd be happy to meet up at Burford on the way up - it's right on my route from Swindon!

Hi guys, I'm Swindon direction right next to J15 practically so happy to meet up at Burford too, as long as 49 people drop out, I'm feeling optimistic! Let's hope.

I am, not convoying though as The Heap will decide what speed it wants to do on the day. Plus it sounds windy, so I'll lose 5 mph tongue out
