Hi James, there seems to be a lack on information either that or I'm unable to find it, could someone please confirm requirements for track time(license etc) and sound limit, static and flyby.

Sorry chaps I can't hang around til 4.40pm to go on the track, I have other family commitments in the evening and it's a 2 he drive home.

Had it been advertised as all day with the track drive late in the afternoon instead of the normal morning Sunday services I wouldn't have signed up. I assumed (wrongly it seems) that it would be a morning affair.

James I'll email you too, thanks for organising and sorry to mess you around.

Hmm, i read this post:

Hi All,

Emails are all sent, and as previously mentioned no further amendments will be made to the attendance list or the track sessions as there has been plenty of time for people to mull it over and decide if they want to come or not!

Enjoy the event!

JD

(Just FYI, sadly I'm not going to be there this weekend as I'm at a wedding... BOOOO! However, Ben L will be there looking after everyone so if you have any questions just ask him.)
And as i wasn't in the top 100 and hadn't received an email i took my name off the list, but with people dropping out i would have now snuck in somewhere near the bottom.

It will be interesting to see what percentage turn out there is, hopefully everyone isn't flaking due to the late track session (although i concede that considering PH must have known when the track sessions were, it would have made sense to put that in the original story, considering the normal "AM" nature of a Sunday service.)

You'd be wrong to assume that as we didn't know. And when I did find out I tried my best to get them changed... To no avail, which I only found out for certain this morning.

Think it was missed before, just checking how they will know who is who when it comes to track time?

Fair enough, well you know what they say about assuming!

^ I think we should appreciate the hard work that has gone in by the PH team to get the opportunity they have offered us as it is unique and is more than your average PHSS - given the event is organised by a 3rd party who are expecting a potentially large turnout, we should take what we're given and clearly they haven't heard the fact that our forum members are more than capable of being out very early on Sunday mornings in big numbers. If PH get an invite back next year, hopefully our good conduct both on/off the track will get us a more preferential 'track slot'?

For those that are fortunate enough that they've been drawn for track time (me included), the track session regulations are very clear and we're in the territory of high speed demonstration laps unlike events such as the 'Action Days' at the likes of Castle Coombe where they organisation is more relaxed, but also more likely to lead to the odd 'close shave'. The organisers have stated that cones will be placed out on certain areas of the track and that there will be 'no overtaking' areas as well.

PS Given the amount of people watching, I'd suggest number plates are partly obscured if you are 'shy' about where/what you've been with your car in the event of any 'claims' etc - this should be raised in the pre-track session briefing wink

Hi James. Looking forward to attending the PHSS element of Sunday but can't hang around till 4pm as I am due at a party in the afternoon. Sorry, had assumed the track time would be in the morning. Please give my track time to somebody else. Also as always, I really appreciate the efforts you guys go to organizing this stuff! Please continue!!!

I will have a empty passenger seat in my car, don't know if anyone want to take up the one free passenger access offer from me. Don't want to waste it!

I too will also have an empty passenger seat, though I think the passenger ticket is all part of the single car entry when we turn up with the pass displayed in the window? If anyone wants free entry, I'll be arriving before 8.30am though you're more than welcome to hop in before the main entrance to gain your free entry to the event. Just send me a PM.

Should I have received an email to confirm admission (even without track time)?

Previous SS I went to sent a PH pass to print out and bring along?

If you were within the list of 100 then yes. There was an attachment that was the ticket entry, it's a bit more than a PH smiley this time as it is an official entry ticket to the show.

Hi, I'm displaying on the ph static display so no track time in my car. If there's a seat available I'd love to take you up on that?

I'm not going track too, just letting anyone wants to hop into my car for free entry!

I'm sorry I've had to take my name off the list. The Celica won't be finished having its cambelt done. 😟💰

No. 92 on the list but no email received - James, I've sent you a PM, can you forward entry tickets to me please.

Many thanks.

I would have been within 100 on the list too but only after James wrote this

Emails are all sent, and as previously mentioned no further amendments will be made to the attendance list or the track sessions as there has been plenty of time for people to mull it over and decide if they want to come or not!

My guess is that you were not on the list when the emails were sent but people have since dropped out (after specifically being told only to sign up if they were 100%) but because there are going to be no ammendments you still won't have a place.
