Guys, does anyone know any info on the volvo s60 that was doing 00 duties?

It sounded absolutey lovely, i assume it was a V8, perhaps an ex M Sport recce car?

the s60 is a 2.5 5cyl that can also be found in the Ford Focus ST & mk1 RS.
the cars are current M-Sport recce cars and the one Elfyn Evans drove on recce this year showed over 130km on the dash.
I was told a few years ago that when they come to the end of their life they will be scrapped frown

Thanks for a great day, thoroughly enjoyed my first rally experience and introduced a young cousin to motor sport.

Sounded like an original UR Quattro.......cloud9

Talking of awesome sounding things, what happened to the 6R4 entered in the National rally ?

I was on SS2 and it didn't appear.

6r4 had a nightmare, went off the road in SS1. and eventually retired from the event with fuel issues

I know! I was looking forward to seeing it through SS4 but it never showed. the one 240z was a great thing tho, full on flame spitting as it passed my location! somewhat disappointed in the national entries this year, aside from the escorts and 240z there wasn't much else to get excited for.

the National opening gt-86 made a good noise too!

Just a massive thank you for this event. First rally I've been too & it was brilliant! The Mrs wasn't too keen on the weather but got some cracking views & will try upload the photos later on.

Thanks again, all the effort you guys put in is really appreciated.

350 mile round trip, fine rain, mud, absolutely loved my first time at Rally GB. Needs more than 30mins on Eurosport!!!

Great day, thank you for organising!

The baby enjoyed it too (mainly the roads away from the rally stage (which were stunning by the way!), but who said Lotuses were impractical?!)

Hello

Was great to see you guys on the rally, Im the cheeky bugger that came over to get some stickers from you before the cars came through sweet lamb. (Fuzzy Bloke Wearing Yellow Converse)

Really enjoyed seeing some of the machines that fellow PH's had turned up in, curious to see if there is any photos of the VXR8 after it made its way up the hill!

Again, was great to meet a couple of you and was great to be offered free sweets biggrin
