Can't really complain. thumbup

@Benlowden and James, Are we ok with leaving tools in the garages whilst out on track?

Recall mine were needed to help diagnose a poorly MR2 turbo that after finding no oil and rather loud knocking noises suggesting big ends gone last year eek
I didn't realise we could get garages?

If it's the same as last year it's first come first served to use the covered garages.

Under £65 including a recovery home add on (I know I could do the "I broke down just outside Silverstone" line with my road insurer, but a £10 add on seemed rude not to.

Cor, you'll be lucky. If I were you I'd come armed with a smart phone so you can wave it at the security gate and some biscuits... just in case anyone needs their palm greased! hehe

See you Sunday

Yes, they are public sessions. Can be booked through the silverstone website. £5/session dearer than the PH sessions though.

When I've checked tickets at the gate for PH before, if someone showed me the secret handshake on their phone then bribed me with lots of sweets they were always let in, given prime parking and a go on my mate's missus.

There must be a list of approved biscuits, shirley? Rich Tea seems a bit, well, council.

We once sent an intern to get biscuits with a tenner in his hand, and he came back with Rich Tea. It hasn't been spoken of since...

Oh god. I'd blanked that out until I read this. So awkward!

Any idea which PH cars will be offering laps for those not taking their car on track and costs etc? Or can we pay in rich teas? biggrin

Presumably you won't be breaking in the F Type S on track?

I'll be out most of the morning in my slightly track prepped Clio 172 Cup, and more than happy to take passengers out. I'll try to make it exciting!

We should also have a Caterham Seven Academy car there to take people around too, but none of the other PH Fleet cars will be venturing out this time. Biscuits and sweets will be accepted and suitably scoffed in quick succession, but otherwise no cost! smile

I'll keep an eye out for you Ben, I'm on the 11.20am session in my not very track prepped 182, it would be great to do a few laps with you in a convoy of early millennium French metal.

Is there an email or anything to look out for if you're just there for the Sunday Service? Haven't received anything yet.

Awesome, lets do it! Can't beat a 1*2 for an affordable track toy. Three track days and two sprints later I'm still on the same set of Avon ZZRs that I had on at the last Silverstone SS.
