Well, little Bubli finally made it along after some time-out sorting bits with a few more still required.

An 'all-or-nothing I'm going' adventure she generally held well smile

Although, she did embarrassingly decide to break her fuel switch as I was moving her to the other car parking area.

Thanks to all the support, and laughs, I had; especially for the lock wire that did the trick! Even got my watch back wink

An intense but great fun escapade smile

Super turn-out and fab Sunday Service once again!

You just need to find an oversized key which turns to stick on the back! This along with the original GTR were my two cars of the day

For me it's the Noble M600, the Heinkel and the Panigale. Wonderful machines.

Hey Blipi - I was one of the 3 guys who stopped to assist a damsel in distress....... and then promptly watched as you crawled under the car and fixed it yourself cool

Cheers for giving my mates Son a lift round the car park - it made his day.

Hope you made it back to sunny Kettering (small world etc) without further events thumbup

Great event well run , even nicer when the sun came out !!! Fun on track too with everybody being well behaved (11.20 session)

Tux (green Noble)
To echo what Tux said - well done to everyone on the 11:20 session, no red flags & the driving was better than I've seen on these events previously. What happened to everyone at the end though? I was worried that I'd missed the chequered flag, the track was empty.

Cheers to everyone at PH for a cracking day. Apologies to anyone I obstructed in the 09:35 session. I was in the black ISF and lost confidence in the car after going into a corner a bit too quickly fairly early into the session. It's the first time I've taken it on track and it seemed a bit too heavy for it. Then again a bad workman always blames his tools. My mates in the white Elise SC and the STi hatch who were out on the same session loved how their cars behaved.

Some superb metal on display especially the Hakosuka GTR and that stunning 22B.

Green Noble didn't half shift, 'where did that come from' went through my mind a few times as he flew past!!! (Silver Elise)

Thanks pistonheads for another great Sunday service, think the mix of looking at cars, chatting and a quick go on track makes for a great combo. Very impressed by safe driving standards in the 9.00am track session too.

Thanks to the PH team for organising, had a great morning. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his passenger ride in the 620s too. Apologies to the blue caterham driver but thanks for making me aware of the issue, will be sorted before I go out on track again.
I'm guessing you had the pissing petrol problem?

I was actually so un-impressed by the standards in the 0900, I cut my session short at about 22-23mins.

Glad I was heading up the second batch tbh (white DC5), meant I had a good clear track for at least a few laps.

I really do hope the guy in the silver turbo cab 911 enjoys the spoils of victor.

My pics to follow.

Great day out wandering around so many wonderful cars!

My highlight was stumbling across my previous car - E46 M3 and having a chat with his new owner Matt.

So a picture of the car I sold last summer on the left and the car I bought on the right:

Yep getmecoat did you see how bad it was? The tank wasn't near full, but it was obviously enough to cause a problem.

The best & worst SS for me, the midlands convoy & being out on track was awesome but missing alot of the machinery in the general area was a shame.

Thanks to everyone that had a nosey and a chat about the Pooma, was good to meet the chap with the blue Caterham (sorry I missed your name!)

He was vanquished, saw him coming up behind me when I was taking it fairly easy on coldish tyres, let him past to see what he was all about, his lines were all over the place and the only thing he had was a heavy right foot and four wheel drive, passed him and left him (yellow 991rs) . have to agree with all the above comments on his driving. But a great day and thanks to ph staff well done lads.

The driving standards of the 10:10 session were well below that of a typical track day. The chap in the blue Subaru was by far the worst - absolutely crawling round the corners and then mashing the throttle up the straights. Completely selfish and it makes the other drivers following so frustrated that they end up going for a dangerous overtake.

I don't know, I saw four cars head in so I followed as my watch said we'd had around 30 mins but I went straight back out as I saw others still out and a green light on the pit lane.

As I came around again the 2 in front pulled into the pits so I thought I definately must have missed the flag but I saw others carrying on past.

confused

How did everyone find the grip ?

I was trying out some cheap track tyres - Nankang NSR2 and wasn't overly impressed.
