Ginetta Sunday Service 20/11

We're returning to Yorkshire for a Sunday Service with our second Ginetta factory visit!

For our penultimate Sunday Service of 2016 we're heading back to Leeds and the Ginetta factory. Last year was a great success, the members that attended will surely agree that it was a fantastic morning and the effort Ginetta put in for us was second to none.

Since it was founded back in 1958 Ginetta has been a name associated with the motorsport industry, both designing and manufacturing lightweight track cars. Today it has grown and developed its wares, offering four manufacturer championships. Furthermore, through its Ginetta Racing Drivers Club, it has helped establish routes from entry level racing through to Le Mans Prototypes.

This year's Sunday Service will be on November 20. On the day refreshments will be available on arrival - with all profits going to the LNT Foundation - then once you've had your fill you can sign up to be taken on a tour of the factory. Here you will get to see each stage of the car's production including engine assembly, engine dyno, chassis construction and carbon fibre moulding, with employees from each area on hand to answer your questions. You don't have to come on the tour, however; if you would rather just have a look around the cars in the showroom then you're more than welcome.

We have space for 200 cars, so sign up to the calendar here to secure your space.

See you there!

The PH Team

I'm not staff but the answer's always yes (unless there are tickets involved), it's the amount of parking that matters

Pah! Did it last year in my Ginetta G33: A three tank trip!
In fact in the main picture you can just see her in the background (The little yellow car)
If I can get the essential winter work done in time she'll be there again.

A great day last year!

Prior commitment this year prevents us going again.

Get their early if you want a space in the car park, else you'll be on the road - safe industrial estate mind.

Car is going in for fettling so should be good for this. Any epic snow will see me not go though.

Mods: Do we still get a warning even if the weather turns foul? I assume not?

We're expected to cancel before lunch time on friday, so hopefully the forecast is decent / accurate!

Saying that if the forecast is good on Friday then all goes to st over the weekend I still won't be coming. Unfortunately st happens at this time of year so they should be more understanding..?

Weather wouldn't bother me, the factory is open and last year was lovely and warm.

unfortunately swmbo has informed me that we are now taking some of her family to Leeds Christmas market as we got engaged 20/11 last year there. Why didn't I propose a day later/earlier?

Surely you can head to the market after the meet?

Looking forward to this, it was a great morning out last time round.
