I booked for the 11:55 a few days ago, still haven't got a confirmation. Order shows up in the purchase history though.

A mate of mine rang Silverstone today as he hasn't received a confirmation email and he was told he was definitely booked on and will receive an email soon, so hopefully it's the same for everyone else.

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that we're also looking to offer heavily discounted track day insurance courtesy of Moris, just like we did last time around. More details on this will follow in due course, so keep your eyes peeled for an update.

JD
Sorry if I have missed it, but has there been any sign of an update on the insurance?

Been watching the Moris web site. It has changed recently from "It's the end of the season, see you next year" to:

Thanks so much for contacting us.

We have had a longer than expected period of arranging contracts with new insurers. In this ever regulated environment designed to make "safe" for all, the downside is everything takes twice as long as expected to cover all the bases.

In this interim period we are not able to formally issue new quotations or bind any cover BUT please feel free to email (quicker response time) us on info@moris.co.uk with your enquiry and we can at least provide an indication as to likely terms and conditions.

Thank you for your patience. We will be firing on all cylinders very soon.

The MORIS team.

Are they talking to you James/Jack? It'd be nice to know if we need to be looking around elsewhere.

That will almost certainly happen a day or so before the event.

A couple of us from East/ North London, Essex & Kent looking to meet up for the drive in.

Anyone welcome.

Provisional meeting time 0630 at South Mimms services.

Early start to arrive in time for track briefing.

I will start a thread in a relevant regional forum and post link here.

Ditto all the posts about Moris.

I have been trying to get quotes through them for the past couple of months for various trackdays and been forced to go elsewhere (which is twice the price). I wouldn't bother ringing, the people who answer the phones are not insurance advisors and don't have anyone else's phone to forward you to, they just send an email to Moris with whatever your query is. I had better results by just emailing repeatedly.

That morris discount is rubbish. I checked last year and didn't make a difference. I've always used insuremytrackday and will stick to using it. Straight forward website and can't complain too much at pricing.
