Anyone else in the 10:45 session? I was enjoying that in the rain. I expected to see the GTR coming up behind me but seems that an AWD Volvo was just about the quickest thing on track in the wet yesterday. More oversteer than understeer surprisingly which is the reverse to how it behaves in dry weather.

The chap in the A3 was surprisingly quick too. Amazing how the performance of cars were reversed in the wet.

HAHA I did thoroughly enjoy our jostling around the wet track. Likewise was expecting the GTR to be all over us but never saw it.
I was in that session stuck behind that f****** GTR for 20 minutes in my BRZ as he wouldn't let me past. He/she would shoot down the straights with the near 400hp advantage and by the next braking zone I'd be right up its chuff again. Total pratt whoever was in that R35.

Edit: Was fun though biggrin

Driving gloves and his own helmet too. Looks like a case of "all the gear, no idea".

Nope that would be me in my Caterham. Slowest car on track in both intermediate sessions.

As far as I know, I was on the "NOVICE" session. What is your point? Don't be such a keyboard warrior!!

I do record I was on a "NOVICE" session, I did eventually let you pass but straight away I was right behind you and in return you were too slow for me, so what's the big deal! You can say That "Pratt" word to my face next!!!?

As a marshal I've seen experienced drivers miss successive flags, get black flagged and still take more than a lap or two for it to register. Once the adrenaline kicks in we can all get tunnel vision. It's a learning experience for everyone.

Well I was on a novice session too? Was my first time on track and I was capable of letting people past. And not to sound like an ass but you didn't keep up with me after you let me past. And I clearly wasn't too slow for you as I was up your ass for a pretty long time despite being quite a Savage amount of HP down hahaha. But I did stick around your car for a while to let you know, but you weren't about!

Sorry mate. Didn't think you'd take it so personally. Sorry if I've upset you, I do forget that some people have very thin skin sometimes.

Yes it was a novice session and you have gloves, your own helmet and a GTR so looked like you should be a decent driver but were holding people up, was just pointing that out, didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

I must say that I didn't have good wet tyres on. However, in my opinion your Car was blocking me a bit before I had to stop at pit lane and change passengers. I think in general we should all have a good time rather than bashing each other and being rude on here. It's not a race at the end of the day and We all have errors and things to learn at novice. You should not have signed up for novice for that matter!!?

No worries mate. I'm entitled to wear what ever I want and to choose the track level I'm comfortable in!! And coincidentally, I own a motorcycle that's why the helmet was handy and gloves to keep of my sweat haha.

Dark blue with white stripes? If so, when I was spectating on the outside of Luffield you showed some great car control through a rather sideways moment - I didn't think it looked catchable. Wish I'd had my camera on, it looked very impressive smile

haha that's the one I'm thinking of, he was behind me and I was watching him sideways in my rear view mirror for quite a while, good to watch him fighting with the wet haha! Especially around brooklands. Brill driving.

You dont have to justify yourself, the kind of attitude you're receiving is totally uncalled for, if he was that bothered & experienced he'd have backed off created enough space to concentrate on his own session, sounds to me like he just wants to show how many internet points he can get trying to show the world how he kept up with a GTR.

Fair play for taking it on track in the first place, after seeing the track I'm glad I didnt take my £160 Puma let alone a big money GTR

Had my own lid (did have a motorbike) and some Sparco gloves too. Didn't wear my Sparco boots though biggrin

Had a good time in the 10.10 session following the silver M3 in the first group out then swapping places with him. No issue getting past people. There was a Blue Golf R that was going quite fast out there.
