Not to mention being somewhat illegal on the grounds of impersonating a government authority...
I'm not impersonating any government authority.

People who open their car door onto your car when you're sat in it and don't even acknowledge the fact.

In fact, door dings in general. They are almost always avoidable.

On of the most annoying was in the passenger door of my old Alfa 147. I had had it about 3 months, I had an allocated parking space in my office building car park, the guy who parked next to me had a brand new Lotus Exige. Big door ding at the exact height of his door. He could have easily found me and he had a well paid job so could easily pay for the repair. What an ahole!

No offence, but that is a bit sad!

When a hood-rat in his jumped up Toyota parks directly outside the entrance at Tesco (where it is clearly marked not to park there) and leaves his motor, plus ste music running, thereby making it awkward for anyone to drive past... Really makes me want to get in his car and park it up for him!! Nob.

I read your post as if you were saying you'd bought imitation penalty charge notices from Ebay? Sorry if that's wrong.

Not quite as sad as struggling to get back to a car that has had to be parked some distance away due to individuals that don't give a toss about anyone but themselves. It's not like I sit there policing the local supermarket for inconsiderate arseoles, who put their own needs over someone who might struggle doing day to day tasks, that others might take for granted, which is something many disabled drivers have to deal with on a daily basis. It's simply an occasional way of making idiots aware of what they're doing without going toe to toe. If you think it's a bit sad, so what. I can assure you, it's the least of my worries.

Which reminds me, a woman did this against my Disco, quite hard and didn't bat an eye, even knowing I was sitting in the car, she lived to regret that mad

I too hate people parking in disabled spaces. Doesn't mean I buy stickers off the internet and stick them all over people's cars. I also hate people who eat food they haven't purchased in the canteen here at uni. It doesn't mean I go and stick stuff all over their food. I could go on

a) I'm not certain one sticker on a window constitutes ''sticking them all over people's cars'' and b) what?? hehe

It is pretty sad though. Especially that you took the time and trouble to source and pay for these tickets.

A friend of mine has a blue badge as he contracted meningitis a few years ago that had some long term effect on his cognitive ability. The only way you'd know is that he sometimes gets his words confused when he is speaking and he doesn't appear disabled at all, yet he has a blue badge and uses it. You'd probably see him in the Tesco car park thinking he was one of these rogues who abuses the blue badge system. He'd probably beat you senseless if he found you sticking these on his car!

Whether or not he should actually have a blue badge is another matter altogether.

Does it impede his ability to get to the shop or carry shopping a longer distance to his car? no. So no he shouldn't have one. If all he does is occasionally mix up his words he certainly shouldn't qualify for disability. Otherwise my nan would get a blue badge for calling me every name in the family bar mine every time we meet.

This.

Happened to me the other day. I wound my window down. He had no idea what I was on about (it was a hard knock too!)

Today I was waiting at a junction and had a police car behind me. A mitsubishi animal pickup came over the junction towards us, must have missed the police car (white 307 with no graphics on but the word 'police' on the front) and the immediately overtook 4 cars. Looked quite dangerous to me, was quite busy and wasnt effortless as those pickups are close to the slowest thing on the road these days.

In the rear view mirror I see the officers spot what has happened and begin to try turning around, 3 point turn etc. Being infront I get close to the car infront of me to allow them more room. But they give up. I can see that the officer in the passenger seat is getting a bit angry that the officer driving is clearly lacking in skills. So they just continue behind me once the lights turn green.

guy in animal - lucky knob

officer driving - useless knob

oh the officer driving was of the female type. Just stating the facts, nothing more hehe

I suppose if someone chimed in at this point with heroic tales of brake testing then all the do-gooders on this thread would immediately be up in arms and point out that such practice is highly irresponsible and would reduce you to the level of the idiot behind you?
