Driving to work this morning i saw a Range Rover in the new 'Essex White' at it had a private plate on it that was so badly altered/hacked about with i couldnt work out a) what it was trying to say or b) what it originally was and it just made me think, 'knob' - even though it was a nice car etc

What single thing on a car makes you instantly think 'knob' ?

Actually 2 things today.

On M1 south approaching J33 always a queue. Saw a youngish guy in a new shape Corsa..

a) His seat was so far reclined his head was practically level with the top of the steering wheel and when he looked sideways all he could see was the B (?) pillar!

b) He has thrown his jacket onto the rear parcel shelf in such a away it completely obscured his rearward vision.

Oh, and he was picking his nails constantly, minor issue.

1.)chavs in 1.1 Saxos with massive exhausts!
2.)Idiots that speed up when you try to overtake
3.)people that pull out on you then sit going slow in front of you. If you are going to pull out fair enough but put your boot down!

Speeding in residential areas. I don't even have kids and I still think 'knob' at those that do. I blame cars, especially big german ones, for being so quiet that there's no sensation of speed anymore.

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!

Seriously, if I can hear it at a level that's uncomfortable three cars away, what the hell must it be like actually inside the car that's doing it?

And without wanting to come over all middle aged, how is tht music exactly?

And all those people that are turning and looking at you? News flash, they're not actually thinking "cool!"

Knob!!

I think there's going to be a lot of people with hearing problems in later life, that's got to be damaging surely?

And foglights in clear vis, obviously. What are we supposed to be impressed by, the fact that your Mondeo LX has them fitted thus differenciating it minutely from the L, or the fact you're able to operate the switch?

Poorly parked cars.

Also, when people are out of their cars for more than 5 minutes and are still wearing their bluetooth headset.

Essex white, lowered, range rovers driving around blasting generic RnB full wack, in an attempt to look "hard". Always thought they looked a bit...well...gay.

Chelsea tractors in general scream "knob" imo.

Those two are on the list plus,

Big exhausts on base model shopping trolleys, why?

Sport badges on non sporty cars (aftermarket ones). Saw a bog standard Mk1 Megane this morning with a 6" tall RENAULTSPORT banner across the back of the car, Knob!

Additional aftermarket lights, be they badly fitted spots, daytime LED's, angel eye's, undercar Neon tube's or those stupid blue LED's on the washer jets, KNOB!

Stereo up so loud they can hear you in the next village, KNOB!

This. Only with me it's the people who act like they've done nothing wrong if you give them a pip of the horn.
