Why do you need LSD to spin both wheels?
With an unlocked diff, one wheel will have slightly less traction and will light up leaving the other not doing much.
yes Its not a cool look:

Love it!

I've got a spare 5.6 motor that I'd love to drop in a 113.

The clue is in the name LSD, a Limited Slip Diff allows one wheel to slip then limits it by transfering the power to the other wheel that has traction, which confusingly enough usually makes both wheels slip laugh cos people with LSD are allways spinning both wheels instead of using it to aid traction ?
To be fair it works better when coming out of a corner and the unloaded inner whell will have less traction and usually spin meaning no forwrd go, the LSD makes the loaded out wheel put the power down and give you back that forward thrust but as i say 8 of 10 owners just use it make smoke and go sideways, which is nice biggrin
Allways wonderd if it's the same 8 out 10 who own cats (and expressed a preferance) who prefer wiskers cat food ?

Aha! I happened to find myself driving along behind this very car a while back and it's badged as a 6.3 at the back, which I admit threw me at the time, as I hadn't been aware of a 6.3 W113!

Sounded good.

Do you want one of these ?

You need to get in touch with Martin Marrocco in Malton, North Yorkshire. He has done several for customers I understand. He is really a bodywork man and works in partnership with someone on the mechanical side I understand.
Do you have contact details? My Googling failed me...

Here is one (not mine), no tax or MOT, rust on the rear screen and front wings, probably all the mechanical bits are good to go though. Currently at £800

so tempting..! I could use the 'leccy seats as well, apparently they're a straight swap, just the electrics to sort then.

Oh dear, I can sense this is going to get very expensive and last a bit longer than a light restoration should..!!
