Audi A5 Cabriolet...White
Discussion
Well I had a similar call from my 69 year old father about two months ago...
... popped into home so see the folks and look what what was there...
What would you rather drive?? Maybe I'm biased but the A5 is OK to drive but in the twisty roads not as fun. Plus it's rubbish if you want to put surfboards or bikes on the roof.

He could always go for a red roof and interior with the white paintwork as well .
White is a fashionable colour for Audis at the moment. I used to say I would never buy a white car but I think Audis actually look quite good in white, though it wouldn't be my first choice. Is he buying a new one or used? Audi do lots of nice colours through their Audi Exclusive scheme. They have a range of Audi Exclusive paint colours or you can have any colour that's part of the current or past range for any model.
This one is Velvet Purple which is part of the Audi Exclusive range
This one is Java Green which is a past Audi colour
Failing that they will match any colour sample you provide so if you're Barbie you can have this
Seriously though, there are so many colour options I wouldn't just go for white. Personally I like more unusual colours but you can go for something that's different but still tasteful.
The quality is pretty faultless and the interior of the Audi is a far nicer place to be than the BMW. It just seems better laid out and easier on the eye as well as the build quality of it. The 2.0T engine is pretty nice but if you're going for a diesel the 3.0TDi has more shove than the 2.0TDi.

I like the Audi A5 Cab, but definetly not in white.
I think they look great in metallic brown.
Seen one in that colour before, it looked superb! I think they look great in metallic brown.
I would be tempted by a grey one with the the brown (Havana?) leather interior.
Not sure on the Cab though, I think the Coupe is a bit more appealing.
