Is it quoting just bits of what people say which drives you to flagrant self-abuse?

Would you care to enlighten us or is being an online, obtuse self-abuser your only goal here?

I thought it was fairly clear!

Once upon a time, 9-3's were actually Calibra's - which were, in turn, Cavalier (Vectra A) 4x4s (apparently quite different to regular Cav/Vecs) - but I'd assumed they'd updated that ste by now!?!?

Whatever, that looks amazing but I'd also be tempted to raise it a bit, put on stock/steelies and drive around looking like a retired fighter pilot smile
Firstly you're talking about a different generation of a car. The 9-3 that's the subject of this thread has nothing to do with the earlier shape car. You may have realised this but it does nothing to help the cause of accuracy!

Secondly, 9-3s were not calibras. It was based on a cavalier/calibra floorpan, which was then altered and improved for the ng900, and further altered and improved for the 9-3. Big difference!

I was so impressed by it that one of the rear view pics is now on my desktop background at work. AND the office staff all know I have the 9-3 estate. AND they all know I'm a petrol-head at heart. AND they all like the Saab, even those who know about some of the shared GM bits. Blimey, I would love that one to go to work in for just a couple of days - M40 - MMMmmmm what a gas.

It leaves me cold. Shouldn't SAAB be focusing on small car projects.
Why on earth can't someone be original without being cooled-down like this?
Anyhow SAAB doesn't make this.
And since when are SAABs small cars? ...Except their hideous old one (that DID win rallies all the time...).

If they just painted it a nicer colour, and took the decals off, would be great.

The matt paint just looks chavvy to me.
You sir have just posted the Gayest comment I have ever read on PH. This man has created something so unique at a level that we could only dream of achieving and the only thing you are interested in is whether its painted a pretty colour of not...hang your head in shame and go sit in the corner!

  • Heads off to call the USAF and tell them their F117's look a bit 'chavvy'*

You must have really low aspirations to want a SAAB with a Viper engine in it. Just don't see the point.
