RS4 Avant all day long for me.... still looks absolutely stunning, especially compared to the current a4 range

Sorry, please explain the reason you missed the Legacy off this again?
Probably because they couldn't find one

That's quite made my day bounce seeing the photos of Jeremy's RS2 alongside other 'fast' estates.
I do miss my RS2 - and I know I'm biased - but I'd still have an uber wagen RS2 over the later pretenders laugh
There's something rather special about hitting that sweet spot and leaving other drivers for dead in what they take to be a lardy old Audi barge.

Well, we did say that it wasn't an exhaustive list of possible candidates... and it was in part defend by which PHers responded to our e-mail prods...

...So if there's anyone out the who's got a Legacy Turbo, an Alfa 156 GTA or an M5 touring (plus any others you might think worthy) that you're willing to let us have a go in ,please do drop me an e-mail through my profile... we'll happily consider an 'appendix' article smile

To be fair the Leggy turbo wasn't sold here. Although it was more powerful than the 3-litre SpecB the SpecB is no slouch.

What went wrong with the links? I thought we were going to see more pictures of Smita. The car was quite nice as well but........

Is it just me? Ding dong.

Perhaps we could do some articles on owners' wives. Performance cars with 'performance' wives. So it does not go the same way as 'Top Gash' (no pun intended) it could only be girls who can drive not bimbos.

On the cheaper side and ignoring the badge, there is always the Skoda Octavia estate VRs, nice q car except for the brightly coloured brake calipers. Being a Turbo, also responds well to a remap. smile

Great article.

I'd definitely take the RS4 just because it's such a complete and capable machine ..... but I'm sort of drawn to the MG because it's so bonkers.

The most interesting aspect of the feature though is the fact that PH seems to have invented a new currency all of it's own scratchchin

Very annoyed that you were just up the road from work with all these cars and I didn't get a chance to come by and see!

Having heard and been in the MG, I'd take that one.

Another vote here for the RS6+
Was driving back from Le Mans doing a healthly speed in the Griff & one came past me if I was stood still.
Have to make do with my D3 Touring which isn't the quickest but certainly amusing on the twisties.

I've read somewhere that there were only 30 of the v8 zt-t ever made. Does this make it the rarest?
I've got the v6 190 version of the zt-t, nice car.

Good should on the Alpina D3 touring.......great car

Maybe an E90 B3s touring could have been included in the Fast Wagons article. Mind you, with only 25 in the country getting one could prove difficult....

I don`t have a dog or kids but the estate versions of all these cars (those that also have saloon versions too) are WAY cooler than the saloon!
