The driving position is the same, apart from two small differences. Series two cars have a different steering column bracket holding the wheel a little higher; and the seat squabs are slightly deeper, lifting your bottom off the floor, slightly.

The driving position is good (certainly on the later dash models.)

It's everywhere else that the ergonomics fail!

Still great cars to drive tho'. And it's more important to be comfortable with the steering wheel placement, pedal alignment and gear throw than it is to be able to find the headlight switch in a hurry or see what's happening out of the rear three quarter view ...

What a pile of junk. Itll handle like crap as it has unsuitable wheels, too (1986 offset wheels on an ABS offset car).

Is the new SOTW better than this one?
