Pooped?

Looks far more like a 370Z than a GTR I think...

Front end - Yes.

Rear end - Not Quite.

All in my opinion, of course.

I'm not very impressed.

Aston front end, Nissan GTR top and Ferrari 458 rear. Design genius I think not. Looks like it's having a st too.

So it's not a fixed design yet then, as these are clearly different? confused
What? They're just at different angles!

Anyway, evo have a computer image of the race car:

Maybe that's trouble, computer render images? idea

To me it doesn't just look a different angle. on the 3/4 view there appears to be enough room on the right of the lamp for an entire extra lamp. Yet the left hand pic there clearly isn't room. Somethings different at any rate, one looks more black (an not just shadowed in the recess and there appears to be a slightly different lip design on the inner right hand edge.

I absolutely love Astons, but this is just hurl
I agree, I know a lot love the looks, but to me Zagato have yet again made a perfectly nice car look bad.

That is truly jaw droppingly stunning !! Aston Martin have always had a knack for build cars that are just sex on wheels !

I was getting worried because alot of the Aston range was becoming samey. Vantage, Rapide, Virage etc.

Hopefully it will have a lot of the ONE-77 DNA running through the car. This thing should atleaat 550-600 BHP as a minimum.

WELL DONE ASTON MARTIN !!!

Clearly I am in the minority here, but I think that looks pretty horrible. Asside from the standard issue 25" concept car rims, the arse looks all wrong and the rear lights look like they have been stolen off of the new Seat Ibiza.

Sorry, that wasn't a very contructive post I know, I was just expecting better....

So the V12 Vantage special run-off model isn't the volante after all (just as they have been saying). It's a super styled V12 Vantage road racer. The first great marketing stroke by AML for a few years. They must have got the normally sober marketing people to loosen up and go to the pub for a change. Now if the interior can avoid any ridiculous balsa wood and bamboo finishes, "Power, Beauty, Vomit" starting lights and they leave the gearbox alone, it might be a new classic.
I disagree as do most AM owners I suspect.
The owners have been asking for a V12 roadster (not volante wink ) for too long.
It would make them a load more profit than a handful of these will wink
It will be a classic any way by virtue of the Zagota link and the very limited number.

Specsavers mate...its the angle. Also, im pretty sure thats a real car in the first pics? the racer is the render.

Very nice but... It doesn't quite do the Aston Martin thing quite right. As already pointed out it has a very Japanese feel. In my eyes it seems to be GTR x LFA x Z car.

From the side view it looks like a TVR on steriods - which is no bad thing.

Do i like it? Yes i do. Would i have one? Yes i would. Can i afford one? Sadly not.

It is trouser wettingly gorgeous IMO. Wonderful.

- Lower height
- Different angle

-Left pic is shot straight ahead of the light, and catches more reflections (from both the light itself and, at a guess, the flashlights, making it seem more red).

From the side the rear end kinda has the "dog doing its business thing" that the Chrysler Crossfire suffers from. (apologies for quoting JC here, but it seemed the right analogy)
