What has your "friend" been up to?
Discussion
He really does get around, this "friend". I am amazed that my "friend" has not been locked up, banned, or in a ditch by now. He is also a right gobby git, and is lucky to have avoided a slapping on numerous occasions. Worst of all, he comes on here and posts some right old cobblers.

My "friend" proved that his mum's Metro could do 100 mph (downhill). His mum was not much better, as she took my "friend" for a blast when they both had provisional licences (the L plates were in the boot).
My "friend" also discovered that his dad's Montego 1.6 was a most excellent training platform for the practice of hand brake turns in the rugby club car park.

I thought that my "friend" had given up his ASBO ways, but, no. Just last weekend, in three separate incidents, my "friend" left the handbrake off when he parked his car on a slope at a garage; ran a red light through being distracted; and gave some bloke in a Merc the coffee beans (having vowed to stop doing that). Sometimes I despair of my "friend".
My "friend" drove three miles down the road before realising that he had not paid for the full tank of V Power he had put in his heap. He drove back to the garage at leptonic speed, expecting to have the cuffs slapped on him, and, worse, expecting to feature on "Chav Moron Cop Geezer Bustatron" on 24/7 Idiot TV; but in the event he shamefacedly apologised, paid, and went off again.
My "friend" has been causing mayhem in the peaceful city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In just one day, he:-
- drove past a tram with its door open, in breach of local law
- got a $40 parking ticket
- failed to pull over when an ambulance with its blue lights on was passing on the opposite carriageway (another local law)
- got overtaken and lapped by a ten year old on a go-cart track
- ate poutine.
He appears never to learn.

My 'friend" was driving in the Alps with snow chains fitted and passed several opportunities to stop and remove the chains, as the ground conditions improved along his route. The chains were old fashioned, and a poor fit, and removing them always involved lying on the ground and swearing a lot.
Eventually, he arrived at his destination and needed to remove the chains, as the roads were free of snow there, but the only place available to do so was an area that had been shat on by about one million horses. My "friend " was not popular in the chalet that evening.
