Would have been better if it was Hamilton

Reasons for my dislike towards Button:
- Said he was the best driver ever in GQ magazine
- Last race he said he was open to new opportunities before the race when quizzed about his team
- Pulled up in the leader pit
- Can't grow a beard
- Sight of him generally annoys me, especially his stupid, undeserved grin

Rant over, it's Friday :-)

Nice work Riggers!
Did you miss your specsavers appointment?

For once, potw has failed, but some of the others listed are now being used. May have to turn up the brightness on this mildly awesome 1920x1200 screen on the desk cloud9

Well done! smile

Now imagine writing an article which many hundreds (probably thousands, actually) of people will read, and leaving it open for comment from the whole world, and you'd post that photo? Really? Totally generic, could be at any track, on any occasion.

Not to criticise you personally, but just to prove that no matter what Riggers posts, everyone has an opinion on it biggrin

Well, I do like to get people talking biggrin.

I freely admit to not knowing the first thing about photography, but I personally like the atmosphere of this potw. Oh well, you win some and you lose some...

As promised, however, there's an extra pic dropped into the original article - hopefully this one will satisfy fans of sharp images smile.

I have to say that there are an awful lot of Philistines commenting about the photo today.

If we were talking about a holiday snap of Auntie Ethel being a bit blurry then some of you might have a point.
As for the lovely green and orange Mazda .... well they are nice pics .... but the car could be parked on the circuit for all the sensation of speed and atmosphere they evoke.

The original pic posted by Riggers is first class. The car is marginally out of focus sure .... but that adds to the general feel of the shot and the feeling of speed that it suggests. You could hardly mistake it for Massa in a Ferrari ... or anything else for that matter.
In this case blurry is brilliant.
Perhaps you are a photography expert after all Riggers! Well done. clap

Er, the new photo would be better if the car was central to the photo, it's slightly off to the left.

2nd picture is fuzzy as well.

Did no-one at PH read the 787B thread, with universal praise, and requests for POTW?

Fail.
