Bought this on ebay for £250, ran it for a few months and then sold it for £330. I wish I kept it now because I have since found out that there are only three of this particular model left on the road. I actually liked this car - it got loads of looks because of its condition believe it or not!

I think VFM this Alfa 156 in 2008. I paid £600 from a vauxhall main dealer. One owner, FSH and 92k miles.

What he said. My newest car is 11 years old.
I suppose the 'snotter' of the fleet has to be the Mk2 1.3. It's the only car I'll put the engine hoist in, or use for tip runs, that sort of thing. Paid £925 11 years ago with 104k miles. Now has 207k and worth, more to us as a family member than anything in monetary terms. The wife had it as her wedding car.

Looks in excellent nick for a 200k snotter Dan - tell us more

At the moment I'm enjoying my second stint of ownership with this. Bought it over 3 years ago for £300 with 12months MOT ran it a year sold it for £600 and bought it back a few weeks ago for £200 with 12 months MOT.

It's the "baby G40" GT model with a 1.3 multi point injection producing a beastie 85hp now it's been chipped an had a modified AFM fitted.

Whilst the paintwork is pretty ruined mechanically it is outstanding with a service history that totals up to more than the original purchase price of the car.

My 2.5 Pajero lwb boot fair car. Ubber reliable and never fails to start even when left for 3 months. It currently does not seem to want to change into top gear but since the boot fairs are only local I dont really care. Just about the slowest, loudest car I have owned and never fails to turns heads (usually for the wrong reason smile)
Nice, you've even got a peasant catcher fitted.

This has been annoying other motorists for over ten years and 150k miles. The OH bought it in October last year purely to slob around in over the winter months. We'll probably keep it for a while yet though. Gave it a service, a cambelt and a new clutch very soon after purchase (parts are very cheap and plentiful for old Freelanders) so it's good for a few miles further use.
