Ultimate snotter, modern cars just do not come close.

Check the shades, the Steve McQueen inspired arm hanging out the window in a casual manner. The Blues Brothers hadn't even been invented yet.

There is a cool car in that picture, sadly it was that blue car in the background. Although I had space for a mattress in the back I remained a virgin all through my college years. I have no idea why....

biggrin

Damn you all! I hold you responsible for the email I just sent to a seller of a snotter as this thread made me want one! It is a 2.9 V6 though and comes in purple to match my other car biggrin

I was always a 'one car' advocate but recently mine went in for some work and I borrowed a friend's complete shed of an Alfa 145 Cloverleaf. It's a joy to drive and very liberating to have a 'do everything' car that doesn't leave me worried parking it in supermarkets etc. I've asked to keep it another week now as I love having it so much, and this blasted thread had me browsing the classifieds and I think I've found a perfect snotter. If it checks out and I buy it I'll post it up smile

The lovely aubergine that these came in, as a 24v Cossie V6?

Here's my current one, bought for £200 with 6 months tax and test, straight through last MOT, been 100% reliable, returns around 35mpg and is known as the 'bellend'

All wrong but my fault, sorry! Not a V6 paperbag Will reveal all if I buy it.... The idea of a matching fleet is just too tempting biggrin It's a proper purple though, brighter than my 996.

This one cost me £200 in Comet vouchers which I won at work:

I sold it to the police after they tracked me down and asked if they could borrow it to use it in a murder enquiry - given how much they were willing to spend on hire cars for me it made more sense for them to just buy it.

I used some of the proceeds from that one to buy this for £200:

I did a straight swap with the Escort for this diesel 106:

I hated the 106 and sold it after 48 hours and about 20 miles of driving. That generated enough money to buy a Puma which I still have but plan to sell very soon with no snotter replacement in mind - I'll miss having a little car I can leave anywhere without worrying.

yes - those are awesome.

Hoping to have my snotter in a similar condition when it's served it's purpose. Might sell it, might sell the Picanto.......... wink

Tapeworm, your waxing skills are not to be sniffed at, all three of those are mega-shiny and look worth four figures for it!

This is an awesome thread, and I'm reading it with intense jealousy. I do love the Audi, but I can't stop itching for something bargelike. That 730i further up is niiiiice..

But hell, since aforementioned Audi came in under a grand with tax and test, here you go:

Granted she's changed a little since wink

One of the main things I've enjoyed with all of them is polishing out the scratches and giving them a bit of TLC before sending them on to their next owner... apart from the Legacy, I think that got taken apart and then scrapped.
