YOU need to have a supersports in your garage to know what they are about, they stand head and shoulders above any aston i should know have owned them all, its in a different league, out looks out drives out gives you that ace feeling when you drive it, the only car i think could out trump it would be maybe an updated SS,

Head and shoulders above an Aston? Out looks and out drives? Don't be so ridiculous.

The DBS is in a complete different league imo, the noise is better, it looks better, might not be as fast 0-60 but is more than capable of keeping up with the Bentley on the road. Also, people won't think you are a drug dealer or premiership footballer quite as much as the big VW.

On the road the Bentley pulls out an even bigger margin than the 0-60 difference indicates. It may not be as involving to drive as the DBS, but it completely outguns it point to point. I agree that the DBS is more beautiful, I like the sound too, but the pace is simply not near the Bentley. Throw whatever insults you like at the Supersports, but it is seriously rapid and easy to drive close to and at the limit.

He's right. A well-heeled friend of mine replaced his DBS Aston with a Supersports.

He is very outspoken about the massive, quantum improvement the Bentley offers over his Aston DBS. He was and remains quite shocked about it. The Supersports is by all accounts faster, better handling, and much, much , much better made. He feels that it is so much better than his Aston that it's really quite embarrassing...

I respect the guys opinion. I've known him a long time and he is not a brand conscious sunbed type at all. But he is into cars and he is immensely impressed with the Supersports.

your joking the aston is more suited to a footballer, and the aston would not live with a supersports, that berk clarkson might rave about the astons and hanging there tails out at his airstrip but i dont think you will find many aston owners willing to slide them round the twisties as the supersports out guns it......
and as been mentioned by others the bentley is built superior and is superior, and the engine/exhaust note is spot on with a supersports, if you have to shout you probably never had it at all, biglaugh

Agree - have driven both extensively and the DBS is just not as well sorted as a chassis - weird wallowing on fast A roads etc etc. And not as fast. Or comfy. Or well made. And has your wife seen how many bags you can get in the Bentley for a week on the Continent?? I bought a GT Speed in the end as the SS was a little brash...

On the subject of the DBS, this is what some tt (for ruining a DBS) who plays for my local big team (Stoke) did to his DBS.

What I don't get is why did the moron buy a black one if he wanted a bright flashy car. Surely a silver one would be more sensible.

Even Gulzar wouldn't do that hehe
