At some point in time this was a good idea. At another point in time a company thought it was a good idea to take it as a trade in.

the company that makes them is round the corner from where the photos are, I think they also make some sort of Murcielago replica too...

Should be back in standard form with a few new badges, some paint and a few hours worth of effort if it does not sell on easy. In today's world, sadly it probably will go far too quickly...

I've seen a similar X6 with these orange vent inserts. It taught me that although it's very difficult to, you can make an X6 look worse than when it left the factory. hurl

Awful thing to do to a car, obviously driven by someone with questionable taste, or devoid of any taste at all!

If we all chip in a quid each, we could buy it and burn it.....

If the thing above front splitter (it might still be grill or perhaps it's a piece of cardboard) wasn't orange I'd say this car looks pretty good.

Why do this to a diesel though (why did it at all!!)?

I just don't get this mentality.

Someone who knows nothing about cars will have no idea what an M5 is and no idea how many exhausts it has etc. Someone who knows about cars will know that's not an M5 as soon as it pulls out of McDonalds, where's the win?

One fine Friday evening I was down the Ace Cafe enjoying the peace and quiet laugh when an M5 started driving up and down. It didn't look right so after the driver had parked up I wandered over for a look, upon seeing the tiny discs and tiptronic gearbox all became clear.

When the owner started driving up and down again, window down and showing off I shouted FAKE as he drove past me. He left never to return that night or any other smile

I don't know, I would say that it was way off course, taste wise in any case.
