RE: BMW M3 CRT: Munich's Lightweight Saloon

Now we're not getting them, I want one.
But seriously, what's with the GTS here and the CRT there? If only BMW had a coherent ethos for its specials (ie Black Series), it could apply it to all M models as and when, thus giving an opportunity to have which ever your favoured M is breathed-on, not just the default M3 coupe, which believe it or not, isn't everyones favourite M.

An M3 in coupe is imho just a sporty coupé, but not that sporty looking. A lot of cars in this class and the M3 doesn't really stand out.
An M3 in sedan or even better, 5-dr, well that's a completely different class. That's where the M3's have always been class leading.

The UK importer takes the cars/models it wants. There are a lot we don't get.

That said, I prefer my M's in 4-door guise.
