RE: Cygnet Colette: Fashion, Aston And Toyota Meet
Discussion
I can actually understand the idea here but there's one thing which grates...
The bonnet vents - they're a comedy add-on, a chav feature - they're fking awful on a Vantage V12, let alone this...
I have a free tip for AM tho - put the price up and use the money to convince Toyota to stop selling the iQ in Europe

A £300M bond to tidy up our finances
Isn't that what is known as borrowing ?
Now, I'm no fashionista so maybe I just don't "get it", but that's probably the worst thing I've ever seen!
Throw-pillows are about the least Aston-ish thing I can think of. Just so wrong.. on sooo many levels.
And the price? Just get a DB7!
Also don't think I'd like to be surrounded by "essence of chocolate lab".
The scatter cushions are bloody excellent.
Mark my words, by next year we'll be seeing "female-oriented" special editions of "chic" cars that don't just feature scatter cushions, but a "runner" across the whole rear bench and 6 varyingly patterned square cushions in a horizontal stack on each seat, which the owner's husband will be expected to move before she drives it and replace afterward.

The whole Cygnet concept makes me cringe. Its all that is wrong in the consumer world. Branding before design.
And to think in another thread this morning I was listening to various people bleating about the 1 series M coupe being expensive at £40k. Suddenly it seems like a very sensible purchase indeed.
If Aston sell this re-branded nonsense, I suspect they could actually get a turd, polish it, brand it Aston and some vain pretentious oink somewhere will buy it and put it on their mantel.
