Video: Morgan Three-Wheeler Drifting And Burnout

This is more 'tally ho!' than 'drifting, yo'...

If this video doesn't make you laugh then, to be quite frank, we suspect that you have no soul. It's the new and rather wonderful Morgan Three-Wheeler spinning up its lonely rear tyre in what we think is the Morgan factory car park.

But this is no hip-hop star style showing off; the donuts are more Mrs Hopkins's cafe than Krispy Kreme, while the burn-out, with the driver's deadpan expression and hurried wave puts us more in mind of a hurricane pilot taking off for a sortie. Which is, of course, exactly how it should be...

If this video has whetted your appetite, you can catch the Morgan Three-Wheeler in the metal at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.

I can see Grandads all over the country doing this on ASDA car parks.

Seriously though, what a lovely car that is. If I had enough spare change I'd buy one in no time. cloud9

After going to Le Mans this year in a Grinnall Scorpion (with leather helmets and goggles) which was a real blast, I can see myself with one of these.....now how to convince SWMBO.

Utter rubbish. It's against English decency law to drive a Morgan three wheeler without a leather flying helmet. Come back and do it again Morgan when suitably attired - leather flying jacket optional during the summer months.

How utterly wizard old boy!

Does the co-pilot have to hold the front brakes on, while the pilot opens the throttle and prepares for take off?

That's definitely the car park you use for factory visits.

I like that they're having some fun with it. I just wish I could fit in one, after my attempt at Geneva this year, I'm not even close. frown

That's the car park of the newly expanded Morgan factory site - they took over the adjacent land that was part of the recently closed Civil Service Sport Club and opened a new visitors centre / burnout area.

I live in Malvern and was passed by one of these on a fast local A road - it looked like fun.

tbh I think that's idiotic behaviour....rolleyes

Kind of thing you'd expect from a 18 year old Barryboy chav.

Sorry.

The only car on the market for me that would really instil a sense of excitement, danger adventure, and the expectation that if you were stopped the Police would be Russian or German, absolutely love it
