Why didn't you buy decent tyres before things like a lowering kit or sideskirts? Part worn tyres may be OK if from a trusted source, but you really don't know if they've been bashed and have weakened somewhere (it is not always visible). I agree with everyone here, buy some decent brand tyres, I rate your current tyre setup rubbish. The reason is that they are the only thing between you and the road and if you enjoy 'ragging' your car (as you call it) then surely that is much more important than braided brake hoses?

btw, if you are really stuck with what you have then put the best tyres on the rear.

You're so right, oh motoring guru...you've got a diesel Peugeot, you're clearly an expert.

Seriously, what kind of response were you expecting exactly?

you spent money on all that needless crap and skimped on the one thing which would trump them all. Fools are treated the same everywhere, FNG or not.
Yeah. I'm not rich and I'm not a snob but all-round michelins on my Clio was my best and only modification...

made by Kumho so they are good.

ETA: Why would you spend your money on all those 'rudeboi' mods instead of getting 4 decent tyres that would benefit you so much more whilst 'ragging it round a B road'?

autogrip tyres are shockingly bad a friend brought a nissan 350z off a dealer who fitted them as the previous set of rears were knackered, aside from being legal i see little point in them.

He has since changed them for a set of dunlop sport maxxs and the difference between now and then is huge.

Tyres make a huge difference to a car and is one major area i would not cut corners. Some of the best tyres arent necessarily the most expensive. If you had a great handling car with crap tyres it would be a crap handling car as the tyres would limit the ability of the car drastically.

My advice would be to put a decent set on asap especially if you push your car a lot. £ for £ probably one of the best ways to improve you car especially in terms of corners and stopping distances .
