Just a curious thought really. What's the most amount of miles you have driven in one go?

This is without swapping driver or stopping for a power nap. Fuel stops are allowed and this also includes bikes and lorry's.

Personally I think the most I have done is about 250 and that was only for a holiday destination.

330, Newcastle to Norwich via Cambridgeshire.

Should be doing 550ish in a few weeks, London to Hannoverish.

There was a thread on this not too long ago, think some people were getting into 4 digits!

717 miles, wouldn't do it again mind - I'm sure that someone else will be along in a moment to blow this into the proverbial weeds though! smile

250 miles isn't very far. Any London-based Scottish
persons will have gone quite a bit further than
that whenever they drive back to their tribal homelands.

I've done 600 miles in one day on a few occasions.

I have driven from near Calais to nearly Misano ,Italy in one go.

Cant find the scribbled down mileage i did .

You wont find big mileages from truckers due to driving hours regulations [4.5 hours max at one time]

John O'Groats to Guildford in a day (750 miles) on my own. As above, not something I would do again (on top of doing 1/3rd of the route up the day before 3 up with two bikes on the roof), so 1,500 miles in 48 Hours.

450 miles with no stopping at all! North of Ft William, highlands down to Solihull. Emptied a complete tank of fuel and I'd driven straight after a night shift!! All to compete in a rally.

Otherwise have done Aberdeen to South Wales with only fuel stops, think that topped 500 miles.

About 500 miles from Bad Harzburg in Germany to Boulogne.

Do I get extra credits for it being on the wrong side of the road and in a Suzuki Cappuccino? smile

You get extra points if you mean wrong side of the road for Germany/France!

Even though I went on a few European driving holidays, I suspect the longest continuous stretch would actually be my regular Reading -> Edinburgh runs a few years ago. About 400 miles door to door.

Yeah, had to swap over when I hit Blighty.

If I can use the ferry as a drink stop, I can add 300 on this side of the channel so that makes it 800 miles.
I must have been mad.

Slightly off topic but a few years ago I saw an Aston Martin (DB9 I think) at the Festival of Speed that had done 1000 miles a day for 10 days. Pretty good going I think!!!
