772 miles in 11 hours including a ferry crossing and a *cough* brief stop in a French police station.

I've done 240 with no stops.
I've done 720 in a day with stops.

Cape Town to Johannesburg on a 1982 shaft drive 750 Kawasaki. In a day. Can't remember exactly how far it was, but it was a bloody long way and it took days for my arse to recover!

I drove from the Wirral, to Portsmoputh, then on to Faslane in Scotland, then home to the Wirral again, in the one day. No idea on the figure, but it was a long bloody drive!

OK, turns out to be about 950 miles. My little bro was having a medical done at the Navy medical peeps in Portsmouth, then was off to Faslane, so instead of him taking he train, I offered to drive him. Was a long day!

Not getting the pic reference, enlighten me?

1800 was a guesstimate off the top of my head. Looks like I was 65 miles over.

383miles in one sitting with a quick dash to grab something.

Managed to go from Southampton the junction before the Severn Bridge when I realised I had forgotten a fair bit of stuff. Turned around, Went back to Southampton. Grabbed said items and proceded to go back and drive to Barry just outside Cardiff.

Was a bit annoyed at myself.

I think your integrity may be being questioned by Jimmy Hill.

Only about 410 miles Gateshead to Plymouth Ferry terminal, two up on a fully loaded BMW GS1150 Adventure overnight to catch a 6am(ish) ferry to Santander. The bike had a 200+mile range but my @rse was limited to 150 and the rather loud Remus can helped keep the motorway snoozes at bay . Felt rather tired waiting to board (matchsticks were well and truely bending at that point) worst bit was drinking coffee with sour milk in Exceter services, or could be waiting to check in to ferry terminal in the phishing rain with no shelter .. Though I did longer miles in france on a trip to Nice (and back), one leg was 678miles from Lefor to Nice and the riding was in daylight (which helped loads) but my @rse never forgave me subjecting it to a ducati 999's exhaust catalyst heated seat and 35degC+ ambient temps (whilst wearing boil in the bag leathers) , ps yes it had lots of fuel stops as I had a 140mile max safe range (if careful)

Jimmy Hill once drove 1,800 miles too.

1,800 miles averaging the state speed limit is exactly 24 hours worth of continuous driving. I am sure you did do that, the question is, did anyone else on pistonheads go further? wink

I did 1,200ish miles when I drove to Germany, not a journey I wish to repeat (especially the part where I took a wrong turn and was lost around the Black Forest laugh )

Paris to Glasgow about 550 miles in a 1.2 Grande punto, loaded with booze, and two passengers, so probably had the equivalent of 50 bhp, wouldn't do it again, especially in that thing.
