Most miles driven/ridden in one go?
Discussion
St Albans to Berlin overnight in around 12 hours. I have also driven from Jct 5 on the M1 to Aberdeen in one go, with only fuel stops. Have done some big drives in Canada and the US too, but at much lower speeds on dead straight roads. About 450 miles is my maximum with a full tank (105 litres) and a quick snack.

I was in the process of moving to Ibiza.
Forgot to add the van was on trade plates despite being fully loaded with most of my possessions. Never had a moments trouble.
In the 60s I regularly used to do Sydney to Melbourne, or Brisbane, something over 500 miles each, with a Lotus or a Brabham in a trailer on behind. We would often have a few other racing people, doing the same, stopped together at a road house for fuel & coffee.
I even used to feel a little sorry for the odd granddad in his Morris, being passed by a convoy of 4 or 5 big yank tanks, complete with large trailers, all at over 90 MPH, on the long straights in northern Victoria. Of course we were getting passed by the semi trailers, doing over 100 MPH, in those rip roaring days in Oz. God I miss them.
The longest was a bit over 1200 miles Rockhampton to Sydney in a 1948 Singer 4A, [with mechanical brakes], in the late 50s. Fortunately the last 200 or so was twisty & hilly in those days, & the braking & gear changing kept me awake. Couldn't have stayed awake on the modern expressway, trundling along at 110Km/H.

Ive done two memorable trips
1st was driving an Atom from Portsmouth to Ballymoney non stop....534miles. Included picking up a hitch hiker, and being pulled at Carlisle by the police.
2nd was driving a hire car from Portsmouth to Stockholm pretty much 1400miles. Everyone else decided to fly to the party...I drove, then fell asleep within 3 hours of getting there! Hindsight.....probably would fly next time!
