Big fan of Lister Jag's, a mate of mine had one about 10 years ago, what a noise!

I have seen Nick Mason a few times in his F40...
I fuelled the Marcos up next to Nick Mason's GTO on the Hogs Back once, many moons ago.

I can't remember if it was him driving - Back then I didn't have a clue what he looked like - but whoever it was gave me a nod when he came back from paying smile

One of my all time favourites. Its the widebody and high bhp engine that does it for me, just the same as the koenig ferraris and other tuner stuff from the 80's that i adore.

I actually had a tussle with one of these back in 2004 one evening in bristol. I was at the lights heading to the centre of town in a bmw e30(tuned 3.5 litre engine fitted) and i see something pull up next to me in the corner of my eye which has a deep exhaust note. I turn my head and there is a lister xjs green(an unsupercharged 500bhp model). We both pull away from the lights timidly but i then decide to give it some welly, and in that he does so to. Needless to say he was soon past me but that then allowed me to see the 4 small blue flames omitted from his exhaust on every upshift. What an awsome car..

Apologies for poor quality scan .

500 hp 7 litre V12, AP Brakes , quite a machine , I wonder where she is now , sigh ........

Now that Lister are back in business manufacturing those very exotic racers of the 50's I wonder whether they will start looking at racing at Le Mans again ?

Lister Le Mans - Two very decent auction results recently suggest that the very best cars are starting to rise in value. It's all about condition and provenance.
