IIRC that plate is no longer on a rolls. As a 'friend' please do tell us what it's on now?
Well if the Phantom is wearing '51 NGH' the answer is in the post above yours AOK. If the Phantom is wearing 'S1 NGH' then I'd be interested to know as I've read the owner doesn't want to display it on a car.

I have also just done a iCarCheck and it appears to be on a Can-Am. It may of changed cars, but last time I saw the Rolls was in 2009/2010 and I was good friends with the son of the owner/family.

They also have a Aston Martin DB9 & BMW X5. I will ask my mate in a minute what car he has now..

51NGH is indeed on the can-am spider. whereas S1NGH is the one that used to be on a rolls
http://platewave.com/S1NGH

.. let us know if you find out what they're doing with it now JayTee as HPI says its not assigned to anything at the moment

Ah, now you see I know 'L 5' is a proper good plate however the picture when I first saw it made it look like it had a dodgy L and a dodgy 5. No offence meant to the poster though.
I have no idea. I'm just following the herd.
Keep following, dude - you may work us out eventually! You'll find there is a generally shared obsession with ultra rare plates as well as those that actually 'mean' something - and they don't get rarer than a 1x1, especially 'forward' (letter first - original issue around 1904).

Got an email from the DVLA advertising a forthcoming Number Plate Sale

Going to the site http://dvlaauction.co.uk/registrations.asp, there is a little note at the top in red saying Lot 1491 has been withdrawn from the sale.....!!

I wonder why!

Doesn't want the attention it would bring apparently confused

I remember reading about it on Vol 2 of this thread - someone knew/knew of the owner.

Thats such a shame - I think it would be a great plate. Funny that it actually got through.

Fair enough, I guess.....but the value of the plate, sell it! Must be worth a pretty penny.

Hi.

Sorry for the late reply, but I have been in a meeting all day.

I did ask my mate that has the Rolls Royce (in his family) and I got the plates wrong. Sadly it isn't '51NGH' but the plate pictured below. He has a picture of himself next to it, but he did not want to appear on Pistonheads so gave me a link to a photo that had been taken a while back. So this photo was taken by a 'spotter'

As you can see, I thought it was a different plate when in fact it was 'MR SINGH'. I would also think that it deserves a spot in the other thread.

Photo taken off ExoticSpotter.
