AOK said: Spotted today... how's it even possible to miss-space a single-single!! IIRC, there's not a maximum space, but there is a minimum. For now.

Fun Bus said: Ah, now you see I know 'L 5' is a proper good plate however the picture when I first saw it made it look like it had a dodgy L and a dodgy 5. No offence meant to the poster though. Bit hard to take a good picture when both cars were doing 30mph+. Here's the original without a zoom in. We were in Liverpool, postcodes begin with L. He could have been called Liam Smith or just liked the reg plate. Don't think i'll bother with the hassle next time of putting it on here. Not a dig at you btw Fun bus.

Saw XX 180 at Goodwood yesterday on a very nice E39 530i Champagne II, but nothing is showing up on HPI Check which is a bit weird.

Some people on here need to get a life!!! There's an awful amount of self-satisfied pedantry that actually becomes quite childish and nasty. Think I'll look for somewhere friendlier.

Ladies and Gentleman, gather round and listen.
After several beers last night, I saw the picture of 'L 5' and posted what Pork quoted. The reasons for my comment were that the L looked as though it was being manipulated with screw heads and the 5 looked played with.
I then looked again and thought "Hang on the bus of fun, it's a phone photo and is clearly 'L 5'. Great spot, I'll delete my post as it was badly judged/made"
The end.

I agree with Fun Bus. He made an error and corrected it, but Pork was quick with a reply. Fun Bus accepted (many times) that he was in the wrong and deleted his post. They both laughed it off and carried on as normal.
It is the people that are carrying the debate on and on (which to a degree I am doing) which I find petty and the people that need to get a life. As FB stated, he had a couple of drinks and we all say things we regret when we drink a little too much.
Back on topic: Thoughts?

Fun Bus said: What the f k does that Range Rover look like?! My pic seems to have gone? Looks like some club colours - i actually know ID of owner who is a OAP btw and not a young un as odd look would suggest, RFU are his initials - not connected to any sports club afaik As for L5 - best to number plate check first to avoid the hassle
