More proof (if it were needed) that if your plate is good enough then the normal PH rules re "chavving" go straight out the window and your plate is heartily welcomed into the "good" thread.. wink
The 'PH rules' do vary person to person but space or no space this must be a £100k plate, well certainly a lot, so worthy of a post I felt smile
I agree Shmee! I'm actually all for a little chavving if done tastefully wink There's no doubt that that is a monster of a plate and probably £100K+ as you say. I can't honestly see anyone stepping forward and suggesting that would look better with the space in it!

Also a change, 2 years ago I saw this on a 599, last year on an SLS, and now a TechArt Magnum:

I'm not, of course, suggesting any link - this is merely intended as an aside and I do apologise in advance if this is a re-post.

nono Have no fear on that score anymore closet chavplaters... Obnoxious chavplates such as that example being repeatedly posted in the Real Good thread are precisely the reason I've given up wink

Had some people staying and he has a 22 yr old Merc with TB 2 on it. I have no idea what it is worth but must be a tidy sum. He's had it about 40 years I think he said.

Sold for £11500 in 1995........!
Bloody hell, I was expecting about that much at 2012 prices.

That is some seriously strong money for the mid 90's.

I suppose if you have two wealthy people who really want it bidding against each other then the skys the limit.

Seller must have been pleased biggrin
By pure coincidence "1 CD" is advertised in todays Sunday Times for £160,000...! CD are my initials and i was the under bidder for the number in Jan 1995 when it sold for £13000...! at the time it was around the average number "1"s were selling for and i told the wife my max budget was £11k and ended up bidding nearly £2k more and still got outbid... but 17 years ago that was alot of money but looking back what better return could you have on your money today...! rolleyes

I saw PO60 ZOE on a SEAT Ibiza today (IIRC). I like to think that the registration was not purchased and that the car was coincidentally bought by somebody called Zoe who likes to pogo.

O 20 misspaced to show as 020 but I still think its worthy of a place here?
Snapped in central London, which is fitting as 020 is london's dialing code.

With all due deference to Jaguar Steve, I agree with you (and from the discussion over J4MES I think Hairbear and Shmee will also agree.). It has to be a great plate to get away with spacing crimes though, and I won't change my opinion on that even if DVLA relax their attitude as they are reported to be doing.... X TR33 X and similar is, and always will be, Chav regardless of the law!
