"SL 300" on an open top grey/silver Mercedes 300SL (gullwing style) on the road this morning, so not a show plate or quite naughty.
According to the new issue of Octane, this belongs to racer Stuart Graham, so I should get extra points for the person as well as the car and plate. Spotted quite close to where his Honda dealership used to be just outside Nantwich.
I could only find this in connection with Stuart Graham scratchchin

105 bhp - and £270 road tax! (afaik most expensive per bhp per £ for used car)
£270 is same for Lancer Evo 400

I saw PR09LEM on an R8 over the weekend, on the Knutsford by-pass, Friday evening. White, IIRC.

Diplomatic cars dont have normal tax discs I dont think.
Diplomats don't pay local taxes. Having been pulled up as calling 'road fund license' a tax in the past, I'm keen to know why they dont pay a license fee? smile

I thought briefly I saw 'H15 LDN' on a truck this morning.

It was actually 'H15 LGN'. You can imagine the disappointment I felt.

I suspect that's the Gullwing he was driving at the Pageant of Power, looks like their straw bales. The one I saw was similar to that model, but the open version. I couldn't find an image of it on Google, just saw it mentioned in Octane (where there's also no picture).

Not as much as the owner of LGN though. It's like a winning lottery ticket with just one number out. LGN is worth around £250, but LDN £97,000 wink

Why would H15 LDN be worth that much? Looks like a £250 plate to me.

You may well ask. The owner thinks its worth so much as it reads 'His London' in text speak. It's been the butt of many jokes for months!

BEN 885 is not on a vehicle. The tractor looks late 70s - BEN was issued with an N and V suffix - and yo ho, BEN 885V comes back as a 'Red Masssey Ferguson'.
