smile Nothing other than highlighting (again) that you've been out giving it the full Toad in a rather fine Jaguar and I haven't. It's nothing but pure unbridled jealousy on my part.
But I can live with it. It should serve as a reminder to me to work harder and PH less...

You get to enjoy some fine cars L100N thumbup
Ah! Sorry paperbag

If it helps, the Williams is leaning. I have no idea why other than maybe a knackered o/s/f spring. It's only 5mm lower on that corner than the nearside?!?

yes

I am sure there is a diff/propshaft related reason for it, but it is one of the first things I can remember irking me about the design of a car.

They are a bit heavy but surprisingly agile for the size of car. Not as dynamically able as an E39 M5 but a large capacity V8 with 350bhp is never going to be dull. Look out for brakes, exhaust and rust.

L100N, it's a fine day to be out in an old XK, think of it as a back handed compliment if you will.

Saggy corner? it's probably not been given that much of a hard time prior to your ownership and now it's being given the daily rallye I suggest it's just highlighting the items that need a bit of a refresh.

I've said this before, but has anyone driven an E28 M5?
I had a 528i and it's not a very sporting seating arrangement. The 6er with the same engine is a great drive. I never thought that of the '28. I also never thought " this car would be great with 280 odd horse power" either.

Please someone correct me because they do look nice but I find it odd that they are worth more than the 6.

The Semperits I had on the front of one of my Golf GTI's weren't too bad actually, not a Chinese Manufacturer but a subsiduary of Continental, they get most of Conti's old designs and compounds. Not quite up with a Michi, but certainly a step up from LingLongs.

Same here. Also owned a 528A. Lovely car, but as has been said, big comfy wallowy seats. 535 with hard backed recaros was a different experience altogether. Brilliant fun every trip.

Maybe that's the difference then, I had Recaros in the 528i
