I'll just leave these here. Spotted on my yearly Swiss jaunt. An MG Superleggra which I have never heard of before but it sounded lovely. and this He followed my brother and I up the Klausenpass at quite a lick. I have never seen one before driven in anger and the accompanying noise was echoing through the valley. If I could only have one 'supercar' in my garage then this would be it. DB5 Superleggera

Right. Out on the razz last night, and walking back through the village i stayed at, i passed down the back of some terraced houses. aside from the usual dross of sheds and mondeos, I come across not one, but TWO 190E cosworths parked up - sadly looking a bit worse for wear. Definately genuine.
I don't know how rare they are but it was a pleasing spot for me, I'll do my best to get a picture if I'm back there.

Not expecting this to be an amazing spot, but am intrigued as to what it is exactly? I am somewhat confused by the badging...

I believe it was badged as an Infiniti G35 in the states, maybe an import? Have seen a few badged as Skylines, must be a branding thing.

DB5 Superleggera Great spots, but FYI, Superleggera isn't traditionally a model designation, it's a method of bodywork construction popularised by Touring of Milan in the late 30's / 40's(it's essentially the replacement of wood framed bodywork, with light alloy tube framing)

At a do in Monaco and this was parked outside, There was a Veyron and Astons etc too, but at least Basil showed up and we all had a good time. I know the photos are rubbish, but as our crowed exited the Opera House it just added to the usual Casino Sq crowds in an instant and jammed the place right up. It is fair to say however that although easy picking, Monaco is rammed with supercars at the moment.

It is a Japanese import, as above the US version is called the Inifiniti G35. It's called a Skyline in Japan. Uses the same engine as the 350Z and is really a 350Z+2 extra seats.

DB5 Superleggera I must say, those are two of the best looking cars I've seen on PH for quite a while; especially that MGA "Special". Lovely.

Andrew, thanks for the info regarding the Superleggera. I know it's a lightweight version but now I know where the weight was saved. Do you know how the cars were origninally ordered. Did you have to specify a lightweight chassis or did you have to buy a 'normal' car and have it modified?

I know I'm in the minority but I personally cannot see any beauty or anything similar with the 190SL. It's an ungainly blob. It might just be that I can't get past the fact that it's a skint members 300SL????
