Now normally I think Veyrons are pretty ugly, but in that chrome blue that looks absolutely beautiful. I want my next car to be that colour!

And is that a rear wing on that One-77??? I imagine Q series is similar to the Q by Aston Martin service which offers customisation to owners. All One-77s have retractable rear wings too. Ah, thanks. I did of course forget about the retractable rear wing, thought at first that it was some aftermarket crap!

Does anyone know the background to this story.... I"m interested. How did the police come about possession of this car in the first place? Assuming that it hadn't been insured at all, could the owner take possession of it again once he buys a new policy, or has he actually lost ownership of a £150k+ car? I'm sure the tale was in the Daily Mail, 28 year old lad driving it around with no insurance.....can't remember the rest, old age setting in.

Yep it seems the police are rounding up any uninsured vehicles. This came at a nice time for them to get some publicity for it. Wonder if the owner will be done for it also ?

The price of the FF will barely be a scratch on the owners bank account.

I found a nice summary regarding such seizures and subsequent disposals - minimum 14 days later by the look of it - done by Kent Police http://www.kent.police.uk/about_us/policies/p/p33....

I think the Ferrari belongs to the owner of a similarly wrapped/painted Maybach I used to see quite often around Mayfair when I used to work there. Pretty sure the Maybach has been posted on here before, but I CBA finding it.

A pretty amazing day, Damon Hill, Jackie Stewart, and a lot of very interesting metal driving through the streets. Some drivers were parading quite slowly, whilst others were definitely giving it the beans. Seeing an 1960's racing car on opposite lock was certainly an interesting experience, as was this demonstration from something a little bit newer: My VideoThe sound all day was out of this world, although I am now mostly deaf. Hopefully my hearing will return at some point this evening
