thumbup

The thing about the Alfa is that only the folk who know actually know.
The Mustang will be "the gone in 60 seconds car" for hundreds of thousands.

Therefore, the Alfa is the coolest.

I guess it all depends on personal preference, but I think the Mustang is just sublime - just imagine cruising around a city during an evening. I see an ropey Alfa SZ every so often, and I never saw the hype. smile

I think it is a stunt of some sort. Seen quite a few pictures of it and another car before. Probably to make people think that no one is untouchable.
There was a 599 displayed in a similar way a few months back

I wonder if that is the Eleanor as used in the film? I think it stayed in the UK when it sold last year.

A Mustang with a crap body kit built as a replica of one in a naff Nicholas Cage film, just like the other hundreds exactly the same.

Uncool in every way (even if it was the one used in the film).

Apart from the sound that it makes. Plus, I enjoyed Gone in 60 Seconds.

Immeasurably better than that Alfa. Really don't see the appeal in the SZ- I think it's quite possibly the ugliest car I've ever seen. Everything from the appalling panel gaps to the ridiculous casters it has for wheels. hurl

I saw this one on Saturday, assume it's the same one. Looked very good and was getting a lot of attention.

A real beauty and a worthy 'pad screensaver replacement for your RRR 9 F40 shot (which I consequently saw! My first!)

Slightly different wheels (silver centres, other one has gold)

^^^^There are hundreds that are [almost] identical.

I just don't get the whole 'Eleanor' thing.

Its a naff looking bodykit crafted onto a 67' mustang (which were far less desirable than the 65/66 model) and made famous by a terrible film.

I rank this car alongside the A team van and Del boys three wheeler.

I'm 24, I saw gone in 60 seconds when it first came out and I quite like american classics, but I could never understand the appeal of that car. To me it was always just a modified mustang...
