O/T slightly, but do you happen to see many March Cabriolets, Andy? I know they're not common in the UK, just wonder if they're a frequent sight in their native area!
I've just checked a Japanese carfinder website and there are 24 x March Cabrios for sale in Japan at the moment. In comparison, there are over 3,500 x March hatchbacks listed. The site also lists 3 x Mitsuoka Viewt Cabrios for sale at between GBP4,000-6,000.

In central Tokyo at least, you don't tend to find many older domestic models as they tend to get traded for new after the first or second shaken (comprehensive MOT at 3 years and then every 2 years thereafter).

Okay, spottings are quite rare in my part of the world, but tonight I walked passed this weird thing. It can't have been more than ,5 meters tall.

Any idea what it is?

I would say that it's a VW Variant Fastback, that's beeen chopped, and then chopped a little more. smile

Not the best of pictures, but I chose this one as you can see the 3 vents towards the rear, and the tail lights...which are the 2 clues that show it's a Variant.

I've never been a fan of these to be honest.. but I think this picture has just turned me. How elegant, but purposeful, yet discreet.. absolutely beautiful!

Well worth a trip there by the looks of it, Suprised Shmee has not taken his video camera there yet.
Well done Andy for getting Vol 4 off to such a great start! Love seeing these kind of post with a great mixture of super, rare and super rare.

Trying to add something interesting to the thread, I saw this yesterday at the Jumeirah hotel in Knightsbridge. Ford GT 1000RE, so it has 1000hp. The turbos were stupidly loud.

Definitely interesting cars about during the weekend, but can't speak for weekdays as I'm in the office. I normally take my pics while taking a walk on Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

I think it looks good! If the bumper was taken off the exhausts would stick out so far anyway.

Spent a fortnight on the Costa Blanca - a disappointing amount of exotica on show it has to be said, although I did find some:

A stunning S1 Elise:

And probably my best spot - a G55 AMG. It was genuine due to the side-exit exhausts smile Pretty sure these are very rare.
