Good catch. 'Tubbs' drives a white 500SEC in Miami Vice's first series (episode six for the MV fans on here). The C126 - for me - is one of the few cars that looked better when tweaked visually, Koenig'd etc. I think it's the pillarless look plus the sharp lines. Great car.
