Is this real or some kind of tacky PR stunt? Don't understand why a person who can afford a Ferrari can't afford to insure it?
The same type of person that would do that to a Ferrari in the first place and think it looked good.

They are hard to understand.

Didn't think it was possible to make an FF look worse but they managed it.

some nutter drove this through town today

What where how???
That would be the 1962 World Championship winning BRM P578 that was driven by the late Graham Hill.

Driven that very car myself around the Silverstone GP circuit many years ago after it was bought by the Patrick Collection for whom I worked.

I see it is now back in standard exhaust configuration - have to say that I preferred it in 'stack pipe' form. Engine sounded even better that way.

A pretty amazing day, Damon Hill, Jackie Stewart, and a lot of very interesting metal driving through the streets. Some drivers were parading quite slowly, whilst others were definitely giving it the beans. Seeing an 1960's racing car on opposite lock was certainly an interesting experience, as was this demonstration from something a little bit newer:

My Video

The sound all day was out of this world, although I am now mostly deaf. Hopefully my hearing will return at some point this evening smile

Mrs and Master Fubes reported spotting a AM One-77 on the Horsham (Sussex) by pass yesterday. I did question them and they said they where right behind it and was definitely a One-77

Indeed. An F40 pulled alongside me in traffic in Notting Hill Gate one evening the week before last. Quite the sight by night under the streetlights and headlights. Quite a soundtrack too. A proper car.

Been seeing these for 18 months now, in fact the one I saw yesterday appeared to be a thinly disguised facelift.
Jaguar Land Rover seem to test their cars around here, I thought the Evoque had been launched long before it actually had.
