Best Smoker Barges - 1 - 5 Large [Vol 2]

You're right, its a big premium for the diesel. It's the earlier 184bhp model if I'm not mistaken, i've only had experience of that engine in 204bhp guise with a 6 speed manual. I'd take a nice 728i over that 730d all day long. More power, better sounding and smoother. You can get a nice non sport for about 1k less which is as you say, quite a bit of petrol. But if you're doing big miles then it would soon add up, and I suspect that 730d is still lovely on the motorway.

Question for the beards. What phone is in that? Looks like a Nokia?
I've liberated a similar looking cradle from a breaking E39 and am wondering if that's a better bet than my existing static phone. I'd thought BMW had only fitted a motorola mobile cradle/connection?

You are paying the premium for LHD - that will almost certainly go for export or to somebody who fancies the idea of a LHD diesel E38 and therefore will be willing to pay the premium.
Unlikely. LHD cars tend to attract the opposite of a premium in RHD markets. No sense in it going for export as on the other side of the water, they're entirely mainstream and that is where it will have come from. You are paying the premium for a diesel E38. Something that BMW never offered in the UK. I admit I'd be keen to sample the E38 740d Sport, but will likely have rather a wait, short of making a big trip.

"Both cars have beautiful gold plated interior fittings which compliments these sumptieous Daimler/Jaguar interiors perfectly. Please use the zoom option on the pictures to view all the gold plate in the interiors of both cars. But this must been seen to fully appreciate."Tasteful!

They might well be mainstream but they cost more on the used market - only the UK has such a cheap second hand market. With the Euro rate as it is and the prices of used cars lots of people are finding interest from French buyers, especially with stuff thats popular in France - Renaultsport Clios for example.Luke. said:
That is a very nice example and I really like the blue. Only ever seen three colours for 430s actually. I'm hoping mine will still look like good value next to this one. Fox- said:

Nearer half that is a bit more realistic.

Canterbury Blue.
It was in a car of identical appearance that I came across refreshing pomp aristos, Muse.
At the start of the album, I was loping at about something vaguely legal.
By the time Knights of Snowdonia and Ben Nevis were at the point of crescendo, the needle's suggestion was deeply illicit.

That BMW for example is worth a good €3-4k more than what the seller is asking here in NL. It seems most sellers twigged the export market and low UK used prices a long time ago.
Seems rather daft to sell it here where it looks overpriced compared with our domestic stuff then doesn't it? Factor in that car came over from Europe in 2006 so the owner will have had to pay an EU rather than UK price for it, so overall, they're possibly no better off at all.
