People tend to forget that early Zonda en Zonda S models also depreciated a bit. Only when the Pagani name got bigger and bigger, early models started to appreciate again. These will probably do the same, I think.

Oh, and what a great looking car this is. Way better looking than that over-designed Agera.

Tommy, did we not meet a couple of Le Mans Classics ago when you were involved with Spyker?
We had a long chat IIRC.
Great to see you have stuck with the top class marques.
Cheers

Wow, what a stunner.

It's a good looking beastie, but when you start looking at the details, it seems little more than an Ultima in a posh frock. Ie; generic tacky kit car rear lights, generic tacky kit car switches/buttons, generic tacky kit car fuel filler, stack dash etc etc

You could build a 1000hp Ultima using a crate engine for almost 1/3rd of the cost of this (though I'm sure 500-600hp would more than suffice in one of those) and end up with a similar, though quicker, product.

Well you could, but Ultimas have probably the worst interiors of any road car and they're a kit car. So you're not really comparing apples with apples.
But with an Ultima, you could build the interior how you want it smile you could spec a bespoke interior, with classy, bespoke switch gear and it would still be significantly less than £200k. Plus you'd have a brand new car, this is 7 years old.

Actually, it seems like ludicrous money when you can buy a newer Merc/Mclaren SLR for under £150k!

Generic and tacky? It's solid machined aluminium? Looks nice to me.

Comparing to an Ultima is so stupid. Lets bring turbo Hayabusa's in there to?

Yes but what could you do about the exterior?

If you like an interior made of plastic, sure. In reality they are wholly different cars and anyone calling it a kit car in a frock has not seen one in the flesh.

Hmmm, I'd actually rather buy the Spyker C8 they have for sale...

C8 looks a bit too 'obvious' for my tastes smile

A SLR against a 800bhp koni would be rather embarissing. The SLR from what ive read, is pretty much like any normal 60k estate merc anyways, so whats so special about that?

El haj douf has a SLR and thats enough for me to never lust after one lol.

Tommy, I'll come and collect the car through my bank, the money is there and as soon as the car arrives at my address, the bank will clear the funds for you.

An SLR sounds nicer smile The SLRs interior is much nicer than the Koni.

The SLR is comparable as it's also classed as a hypercar (that's where the similarity ends, other than having a V8) though it's obviously going to lack in performance compared to the tuned Koni. However, you could buy a newer SLR and a faster, brand new Ultima for less than £240k!
