Cool, that's the same colour as the one we owned when I was a kid. Growing up with cars like that as the family daily it's not really a surprise I'm into cars.

Do anyone mind if I post a new one as I do not think it is possible to solve the red box, at least not if its poster do not post any hints?

I wouldn't worry too much about that, it's a 'shop.

Yours is interesting though, no idea what it is, looks like a rebodied MGB to me.

Well you are right in that is a rebody of a car but not a MGB. The car was later rebodied again after a crash and it don't appears to have survived.

Something nags about the picture. Maserati AG6?

It's reminiscent of the Ferrari 212 Inter Vignale Coupé "Bumblebee".

Not a Corvette, but both Bonefish Blues and especially rohrl are on the right track. None of them are completely right though. Here it is from the front too:

Edit: Just to make it clear. The car is indeed a Vignale bodied car of some sort, but not that particular car.

That looks like a Mille Miglia number on the side and from the shape of the car it must have been produced contemporaneously with the 212 I pictured which places it in the early 1950s.

In 1953 an Osca MT4 1100 berlinetta Vignale numbered 403 was entered in the MM driven by Gianni Balzarini and Bruno Veglia. They had an accident and failed to finish.

And that is indeed the car. It first was rebodied into a barchetta in 1955 after a crash and it have since then disappeared.
