I think I will just say it. The coachbuilder was Serra, the sports car I talked about was Pegaso and this is a 1973 Ford Granda made by them. Source for the pictures are here: http://www.coachbuild.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20...

Feel free to post a new quiz! smile

It's an AC - not sure of the model, but roofline looks a bit Zagato-ish with the double bubble.

Did this tread die? I'm the only one who think it is fun to guess cars? It is fairly obvious that AC 378 GT Zagato was the right answer so I don't think you need confirmation before posting a new quiz.

It looks a bit like the sort of thing Gabriel Voisin would have come up with.

It is not one of his creations but the companys history is very similar to Voisin. The company was first established by a early aviation pioneer and his brother for the construction of aircrafts, it then went into the business of luxury car manufacturing where they tryied to bring elements of what they had learned in the aircraft industry into the cars.

Here is another picture showing how you entered the car. It is worth noting that this car was built in 1923 so I think it must have among the earliest roof-mounted door designs made.

I don't think it is cheating to google based on hints. It is a another thing if you used the reverse image search though, but I don't think you should be able to that with these pictures (I was not at least, I tested wink).

Feel free to post the answer if you have it.
