Only reason I remember it was because there used to be one parked on the front garden of a terraced house in Mitcham Road just down from the Lombard roundabout in Croydon in the late 80s.... never seemed to move and I never saw one on the road!

When I worked at Milcars BMW in Borehamwood 10+ years ago there was one of those parked outside a nearby office every day.

It was green, so possibly the same car.
Still there recently. Near the bodyshop on Warwick Road?

Yes exactly; I worked in Chester Road from '01 to '07, drove down Warwick Road every day.

That is correct.

It was based on an Austin 1100 with bodywork by Peel.

Prototype Lancia bodied by Ghia, created Gianni Lancia initiative.

Correct. It was known as the Lancia Posteriore 01 (or LP01).
