To change to subject completely... What is the general consensus about using the google image search on threads like this? I´ve never used it as straight search of the image itself. I have used it by searching for example "Ghia Lancia", to find pictures to compare my general hunch about the car in question.
I do that, not that I'm having much luck so far! Generally I get a hunch about a car's manufacturer or designer and a Google search for that gets me a foot in the door.
I Google my guess to check if I'm right, not photo search.

Mostly wrong by the way. rolleyes

Just my opinion, but I would think of using a seach by image "reverse look-up" as a form cheating.
(Unless it's just to satisfy your own curiosity)

I would view that as acceptable. I've done it myself to confirm, or just as often, disprove my guess/belief.

Damn, I was going to say Bugatti Atlantic, but on closer inspection the front end's too square.

Anyone know what this is because I don't (I realise this is not in the spirit of the topic). I suspect it may be a Tojeiro and it was photographed among some Jaguar/Ecurie Ecosse machinery at Ingliston some years ago:

I would think it is a re-bodied XK150 or MK1 or very early MK2 as the DVLA has it first registered 25th September 1959 and its down as a 3.4 so will be an XK engine. Looks nice but maybe dead as the date of liability is 1st march 1991. The picture is quite old though with the Monty and MK1 Granny/Consoul in the background.
