The first 1:23 is total bks. But the rest of it is great.

Shame he ditched the impreza for the fiesta, it looked loads better.

Also, never heard 'hoonigan' before. Quite liked it on his computer smile

I have huge respect for him managing to get himself into the situation where he can pretty much get permission to drive where ever the fk he wants in a mental little car.

But i dont respect him as a driver, his WRC results where rubbish (Being beaten by the S2000 cars wasnt unusual)and now it would apear he has given up on the WRC?

As it turns out going fast is not as fun as going around in circles sideways. biggrin

I'm quite happy to take this for what it is - a glorified TV commercial. Yes I know it's not focused on the driving like the earlier videos, and I know it's done using multiple takes and such like, but it's still good for a laugh!

Good luck to him, looks like he's having fun out there at the very least!

cant the same be said of Kimmi Raikonen given his results in the WRC?

as far as him giving up on the WRC thats a load of bull, he said earlier in the year he would only have a limited programme in the WRC, this is due to his X-games/ rallycross commitments, and quite possibly budget restraints. the dude is bigger in the states than he is most the rest of the world, so he's making sure he keeps his status up there by doing stuff on home soil.

tbh i'd rather see Pastrana have a go at a few WRC rounds in Kens car just to see if the America Rally Championship is any better a standard than our own British Championship? given that Mark Higgins has just wrapped the title up, and that L'estage from the Canadian championship finished 2nd, id guess its not much better than ours.

ohh yeah, Higgins should be in a WRC seat or failing that an a Super2000 or IRC team!!

I usually like all of his video's but that one had too much crap in it IMO. When it got to the driing though , that was good. I didn't like the crashing through brick wall and the crashing into the ladder bit though.

He is very good at what he does. The reason he left WRC was after a huge crash in which he flipped his car several times and he said in an interview that he had a kid and didn't want to throw his life away If you doubt his driving because he is beaten by S2000 drivers then I think that is slightly silly. S2000 cars arn't that different to WRC cars and S2000 drivers are reall good. If it were me or you I doubt we would put in a time like what he does. It also takes a lot of skill to get inch perfect in the stunts he does , yet again I doubt we could do the same.

Rant Over! All IMO of course. smile

errr, no! rolleyes
while i havent seen/heard the interview you refer too, he had his big accident in Rally Portugal in march, he has since competed in WRC Argentia and is on the entry list for WRC Germany. so has not left the WRC at all. he's just running on a limited programme.

this however is true!
some of these S2000 boys can put on one hell of a show. Mads Ostberg was due to run a full S2000 championship this year, but M-Sport decided they wanted him to have a full WRC drive so got him in a Stobart backed car, his performance in Sweden and all rallies since, proved their point! thumbup

They have to do something different after 3 normal ones. I say A+ for effort and its the first one to make me laugh out loud.

How has that video got 301 views, yet 5454 "likes" and 143 "dislikes"? Surely you have to have watched it to vote?

judging by the ammount of rubber on the floor in nearly all those shots, takes a few trys to get it right!
