I was a little upset when Sue told me she had sold the Lemon, she had good reason selling it on and to be honest it will get more attention now. I can't believe she has managed to clock up nearly 100k on the S2k, something that could not have been done on the Lemon.

The Le Mans had done 87k when I sold it! I haven't done 1000 miles yet in my new green MX-5!

WGT Auto Developments built a rotary engined MX5 for me. It's cheaper, lighter and more powerful than the latest BBR conversion. I would have bought one from Mazda if they would have made one.
I assume cost has held Mazda back from making an rotary engined MX5, but I've always thought it would make sense from a performance standpoint, and Mazda's history, as it would just enhance the cars lightness.

yeah, comments like yours turn up all the time! you don't know what you are missing not owning a lovely car like a Le Mans! and it is too fast for a hairdresser to own! I loved it! It makes me smile to see it!

Funny did about 15 laps of Silverstone between two 996's - one of which I passed. I don't think those guys think of mx5's as hairdresser cars.

Holy thread revival/cool story etc,

saw one of these yesterday in Ollerton near Knutsford, went past wastegate a chattering, sounded good and left a heady aroma of unburnt hydrocarbons in the air, made me smile anyway.

Anyone on here ?

Didnt realise it was an actual model.

Another thread resurrection. The car is now for sale at the Hairpin Company for £25k. Still looks very tidy but not to my taste!
